Job summary

Shell Rotterdam is seeking a Category Management Intern to join the Foodservice Benelux & France team in Rotterdam. You will support purchasing, operations, marketing implementation and strategic projects, coordinating with Buyers, Category Managers, Operations and Marketing stakeholders.

This internship offers broad exposure to commercial and operational aspects of a leading foodservice business whilst enabling you to develop valuable skills in project management, stakeholder engagement,

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data proficiency.
• Good Excel skills and interest in business performance analysis.
• Experience with Power BI or reporting tools is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support cross-functional Foodservice projects from planning through implementation.
• Coordinate project activities and follow up on actions and deliverables.
• Track timelines, milestones and KPIs; present insights and recommendations.
• Prepare presentations, reports and project updates for stakeholders.
• Support product assortment reviews, category performance analysis and supplier data management.
