Job summary

JD.com is expanding its global logistics and technology teams in Amsterdam, building a scalable last mile capability through data-driven planning and cross-functional collaboration. In this role you will own Last Mile capacity planning, risk mitigation, execution analysis, system and process optimization, and peak planning to ensure reliable delivery to customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

About The Team

You’ll be joining the JD.com team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do

1. Last Mile capacity planning: Creation of structured capacity plans on a 1-6 months time frame
2. Last Mile Risk Mitigation: Monitor actual capacity to identify capacity risks and propose risk mitigation approaches
3. Execution analysis: Analyze and understand gaps between plan and execution and work with relevant stakeholders to rectify gaps
4. System and Process Optimization: Implement continuous improvement processes to constantly improve the quality of our last mile capacity
5. Peak Planning: Create and coordinate the execution of peak capacity plans

About You

1. Education: Bachelor's degree or higher;
2. Experience in capacity planning, capacity controlling
3. Proficient in Office software and solid data analysis and management skills.
4. Possess a strong sense of responsibility, strong communication and coordination skills, and strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
