New Balance in Amsterdam is seeking a Buying Internship to join our global team. You will get hands-on exposure to the full product lifecycle, from range selection and forecasting to buying, performance analysis, and clearance strategies, with a focus on Direct To Consumer.

This six-month fixed-term internship offers cross-functional collaboration with DTC channels, stock supervision, and data-driven decision making.

Aufgaben

• Working with Buyers on seasonal buys, providing input on trends and performance at both GBU and Country level.
• Supporting the buying process with order placement, product reviews, and article and category analyses.
• Cross-functional working with all DTC Channels (Ecommerce, Marketplace, Outlet, and Inline) to put together the seasonal plan for the digital platforms and stores, ensuring marketing and commercial campaigns are supported.
• Supervising stock from factories to warehouses, ensuring it is released to be sold and highlighting any problem with late arrivals or launch critical products.
• Working with Marketing, Trading, and Operations teams to ensure product is available for the scheduling of marketing assets and advertised launches.
• Compiling product details for styles to be sold via Ecommerce, Marketplace, Outlet, and Inline, including pricing and inventory info.
• Ensuring price consistency and accurate price upload on the New Balance platform.
• Working with Buyers on in-season reporting and sales analysis.
• Working with Buyers and the wider Marketplace team to identify risks and opportunities via partner programs, suggesting styles to be added or excluded from the platforms.
• Assisting the Buying team during EOSS period.
