Qualifications

For an international organization within the logistics and supply chain sector, we are looking for a Business Process Lead Order to Cash for a permanent position in Rotterdam.

In this role, you operate at the intersection of Supply Chain, logistics operations, process improvement and digital transformation. From the business side, you determine how processes should be structured more effectively and efficiently and translate this into the business, IT and SAP teams.

What will you do?

The organization is working on an extensive digitalization and transformation agenda. As a Business Process Lead Order to Cash, you are responsible from the business side for improving, standardizing and professionalizing the complete Order to Cash process. From setting up a contract and preparing a customer quotation to order processing, execution, invoicing and settlement.

You will:

• Be end-to-end responsible for the Order to Cash process and safeguard the coherence between the different process steps.
• Optimize processes around contracting, quoting, order management, execution, invoicing and settlement.
• Develop a future-proof process design and create support for it within the organization.
• Bring together business, IT and external implementation partners and jointly determine the right direction.
• Translate business processes and requirements into concrete solutions for SAP consultants, Product Owners and Business Analysts.
• Challenge designs and solutions from implementation partners and ensure alignment with the business.
• Monitor the correct execution of the process and identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
• Introduce and professionalize Business Process Management, process governance and continuous improvement.
• Be actively involved in the global implementation of SAP S/4HANA.

Who are we looking for?

An experienced Order to Cash / Business Process professional with a strong background in commercial and operational business processes. You have experience in consulting, business transformation, process excellence or a similar environment and know how to translate complex processes into practical solutions.

You bring:

• Experience with Order to Cash processes and preferably multiple parts of the end-to-end chain: contracting, quoting, order management, fulfilment, billing and settlement.
• Experience with process improvement, digitalization and/or implementation projects.
• Consulting experience and the ability to sell advice and new ways of working internally.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience connecting business and IT.
• Experience managing or guiding professionals is a plus.
• Experience with Business Process Management, Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence is a plus.
• SAP S/4HANA experience is preferred, but not required.

The position

• Salary (monthly) indication: €5,000 - €8,000 gross + holiday allowance, bonus and 13th month
• Plenty of room to further build and develop Process Management
