Orffa is an international specialist in feed additives and nutritional solutions, headquartered in Breda and operating in more than 75 countries worldwide. To further strengthen its commercial and financial performance, Orffa is introducing a new Business Controller position. With a primary focus on EMEA and involvement across APAC and The Americas, you will play a key role in developing business control, analysing performance and turning insights into concrete commercial recommendations and actions that improve profitability and drive growth.

• Analyse profitability, commercial performance and growth opportunities across products, customers and regions, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
• Develop management reporting, dashboards and BI initiatives, while strengthening budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with the business.
• Drive and support initiatives focused on product mix optimisation, market expansion, pricing, profitability improvement and supply chain efficiency.
• Stakeholders: Head of Finance EMEA & Corporate, regional Managing Directors, international Finance teams, Sales, Supply Chain and Logistics.

As Orffa's first Business Controller, you will help build the business control function within an international, commercially driven organisation. Reporting directly to Rik Meulemans, Head of Finance EMEA & Corporate, your primary focus will be on EMEA, with involvement across APAC and The Americas.

You will analyse financial and commercial performance across products, customers and markets, going beyond explaining the numbers. You form your own perspective, identify where action is needed and translate findings into concrete recommendations that improve profitability and drive growth. Working closely with Sales and regional management, you will also help strengthen budgeting and forecasting processes.

With a wealth of data already available, you will take a hands-on approach to developing dashboards, management reporting and BI initiatives. Your focus is on turning data into meaningful insights that support commercial decisions and drive improvements.

As a proactive business partner to regional Managing Directors and colleagues across Finance, Sales and Supply Chain, you bring an independent perspective, challenge existing ways of working and initiate improvements in product mix, pricing, customer profitability and operational efficiency. You take ownership of your recommendations and help drive their implementation, ensuring insights translate into tangible results.

• A completed university degree in Finance, Business Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Approximately 1-3 years of relevant experience in business analysis, finance, consultancy or a similar analytical role.
• Strong analytical skills and a genuine affinity with data, financial modelling and business performance.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with or a strong interest in BI tools such as Power BI or Qlik Sense; knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• A commercially minded, proactive and hands‑on approach, with the confidence to form independent opinions, challenge stakeholders and drive improvements.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
