Job summary

ASML is seeking a Business Controller to drive strategic financial decisions in a global high‑tech environment. You will partner with senior stakeholders across business lines, project management, and corporate functions to optimize performance and shape forward-looking plans.

The role features a hybrid arrangement with 3 days in Veldhoven and 2 days from home. You will lead long-term planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business case development while ensuring data quality and governance

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Economics or Finance; professional qualification preferred (RC/RA/CPA/ACCA).
• 8+ years in Business Control or FP&A within an international matrix organization.
• Extensive experience managing full P&L, budgeting, and forecasting at business unit or group level.
• Coordinated and presented at least three complex financial business cases to senior management.

Your main responsibilities:

• Drive and manage the long-term financial plan, global annual budget cycle, and monthly business reviews.
• Identify financial opportunities and risks, translating these into executable improvement actions together with management.
• Develop and review strategic business cases to support investment decisions at the executive level.
• Continuously improve the effectiveness, data quality, and processes of corporate performance management.
• Monitor financial frameworks, objectives, and governance within multidisciplinary programs.

You are successful as a Business Controller when you meet the following criteria:

• You have a completed Master’s degree in Business Economics or Finance (preferably supplemented by an RC, RA, CPA, or ACCA qualification).
• You have at least 8 years of proven work experience within Business Control or FP&A in an international matrix organization.
• You have extensive experience in independently managing the full P&L cycle, budgeting, and forecasting at the business unit or group level.
• You have coordinated and presented at least three complex financial business cases from start to finish to senior management.
