Aeronamic is seeking a Business Controller to bridge financial data with ongoing R&D projects, focusing on sustainable aviation and industry.

In this role you analyze results, set up financial administration, ensure timely reporting, budgets, forecasts, and annual accounts, and contribute to BI and CSRD. You will advise the Board and collaborate across groups.

Qualifications

• Completed HBO or WO degree, preferably in Finance, Business Economics, or related field.
• Several years of relevant experience in a similar role within a production environment.
• Affinity with ERP systems; quickly become proficient in ISAH and ISAH Finance, with strong Excel skills.
• Experience with subsidies is a plus.
• Personality traits: communicative, results-driven, structured, curious, detail-oriented, and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and advise on WBSO applications and financial accountability of WBSO and R&D subsidy projects within Aeronamic.
• Annually prepare CSRD reports (scope 1 & 2 KPIs) and sustainability reports for financiers and stakeholders.
• Contribute to group-wide BI projects, developing KPI reports and enhancing analyses and management information.
• Provide solicited and unsolicited advice to the Board and management on financial matters.

As a Business Controller at Aeronamic, you are the key link between financial data and the day-to-day reality of diverse R&D projects, focused on making aviation and industry more sustainable. You look beyond reporting alone and use insights to propose concrete improvements that contribute to better decision-making, more effective projects, and sustainable growth.

Activities

What are your tasks and responsibilities?

In this versatile role, you analyze project results, identify risks and opportunities, and translate these into clear recommendations for the Management Team. In doing so, you add direct value to innovative initiatives that are critical to the future of the organization and actively contribute to decision-making and the strategic direction of Aeronamic Innovations.

In addition, you play a key role in setting up, monitoring, and continuously improving the financial administration. You ensure reliable and insightful reporting, monitor budgets and forecasts, and are responsible for preparing periodic reports and annual accounts. You make sure that financial figures are not only accurate, but also timely and understandable for the organization. Finally, you are closely involved in company-wide projects, including Business Intelligence and CSRD.

The activities include:

• You are responsible for the optimal setup, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the financial administration of Aeronamic Innovations, including related processes, procedures, and systems.
• Preparing and monitoring periodic financial reports, budgets, analyses, and the annual accounts of Aeronamic Innovations.
• Fulfilling a coordinating and advisory role in WBSO applications and a controlling role in the financial accountability of WBSO and R&D subsidy projects within Aeronamic.
• Annually preparing CSRD reports (scope 1 & 2 KPIs) and sustainability reports for financiers and other stakeholders.
• Actively contributing to group-wide Business Intelligence projects, including the development of (KPI) reports and improving the efficiency and quality of analyses and management information.
• Providing solicited and unsolicited advice to the Board and management on financial and business-economic matters.

• Gross monthly salary between €4,680 and €6,500, depending on education and experience.
• An annual mid-year allowance of 4%, an end-of-year allowance of 3%, and a performance-based bonus of up to 3%.
