Job summary

Nutreco, an SHV company, is seeking a Business Application Specialist (Quality) to join the Quality Systems team. You’ll bridge business and technology, translating needs into practical solutions and driving improvements across global quality applications.

You’ll collaborate with quality leaders and stakeholders worldwide, support migration and adoption of systems, and contribute to a major transformation project in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst or similar role translating business needs into system solutions.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders across functions and cultures.
• Strong communication skills with ability to influence decisions.
• Experience in quality management or enterprise applications is a plus.

About the team

This role sits within Nutreco's Quality Systems team, where business and technology come together to support quality management across our international organization. You'll work closely with quality leaders, business stakeholders, application specialists, and external partners to improve processes, drive adoption, and support the transformation of our quality management landscape. Success in this role is built on collaboration, trust, and the ability to translate complex business needs into practical solutions that create value across the business.

What you'll do

As a Business Application Specialist Quality, you'll work at the intersection of business and technology, helping stakeholders translate their needs into effective solutions and driving improvements across our quality systems landscape.

You will:

• Build trusted relationships with global quality leaders, business unit stakeholders, vendors, and project teams.
• Lead discussions that turn business challenges and requirements into practical system solutions and clear action plans.
• Support the migration and continuous improvement of Nutreco's global quality management applications and processes.
• Facilitate alignment and decision‑making across diverse stakeholder groups, balancing business needs with technical possibilities. Contribute to project delivery activities including requirements gathering, testing, implementation, training, and user adoption.
• Support day‑to‑day application management activities, incident resolution, user support, and training initiatives.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is ready to Own this role by combining strong stakeholder management skills with business process thinking and a passion for solving complex challenges.

You’ll bring:

• Experience in a Business Analyst, Business Application Specialist, Product Owner, Process Specialist, or similar role.
• Proven success managing stakeholders across functions, cultures, and levels of seniority in a complex organization.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to build trust and influence decision‑making.
• Experience translating business requirements into system or technology solutions.
• A process‑oriented mindset and the ability to balance business needs with technical feasibility.
• Professional fluency in English.
• Experience within quality management, regulated environments, or enterprise applications is beneficial but not essential.
