Job summary

Planon Building Management is seeking a Building Inspector (NEN 2767 / BOEI) to assess the technical condition of offices, schools, and other properties across the Netherlands. You will visit sites, document findings, and translate inspections into clear reports and LTMP/MJOP forecasts, enabling clients to manage risks and investments.

The role blends fieldwork with office analysis, supported by a small, collaborative team and strong knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

Completed MBO-4 or HBO/Bachelor's in Construction Engineering or related
At least 2–3 years of experience in building inspections
Experience with NEN 2767 and/or BOEI
Experience in real estate, technical property management, or project preparation
Experience with AutoCAD, digital systems, and reporting software
Valid VCA certificate, or willingness to obtain one
Able to work independently with responsibility and attention to detail
Strong command of the Dutch language

Responsibilities

Inventory and inspect building components and structures
Perform condition assessments per NEN 2767/BOEI
Identify, assess, and document defects and maintenance risks
Prepare technical reports and MJOPs/LTMPs
Translate inspection findings into maintenance recommendations and cost estimates
Independently plan and carry out inspection activities
Collaborate with colleagues in building consultancy and real estate advisory
Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
Balance field inspections with technical analysis
Work with a small, close-knit team with autonomy
