Job summary

Eurofins Scientific in Leiden is seeking an enthusiastic Pilot Plant Buffer & Media Operator to join a new team. You will handle production of buffers and media, prepare buffers from 10 ml to 200 L, and assist in introducing new buffers and processes within a GMP/GxP framework.

You will work in a team, in a dynamic environment, with opportunities for growth and development, and you will need to communicate effectively and maintain high accuracy.

Qualifications

• MLO degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences or related sciences.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical environment and knowledge of GxP is preferred.
• You are flexible and proactive.
• You enjoy working in a team and communicate well.
• You are accurate, and have great attention to detail.
• You can work independently.
• You are a quick learner who thrives in a dynamic environment.
• You are self-motivated with a positive attitude.

Job Description

For our location in Leiden, we are looking for an enthusiastic Pilot Plant Buffer & Media Operator to join a new team.

In this position you will be part of a production operations team that produces end-to-end clinical material for advanced therapies, specially focused on cell and gene therapies. This includes production of media & buffers, cell banks, starting material like virus seeds and plasmids, API and DS for several different modalities.

You will be required to adhere to GxP guidelines and for some activities you will be required to enter clean rooms. Your activities will include:
