Job summary

Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions® in Leiden is seeking a Pilot Plant Buffer & Media Operator to join a new production operations team. The role focuses on end-to-end production of media, buffers, cell banks, and related materials for advanced therapies, with experience in GxP preferred.

You will work in a team-driven environment, sometimes in clean rooms, and contribute to process improvements while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Must have MLO degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences or related sciences.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical environment and knowledge of GxP is preferred.
• Flexible and proactive mindset; strong team communication.
• Accurate with great attention to detail and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Produce buffers and media for GMP and non-GMP applications.
• Prepare buffers/media at scales from 10 ml to 200 L.
• Support introduction of new buffers and processes.
• Assist with equipment and material introduction for new buffers and processes.
• Support other areas of operations as required.

Job Description

In this position you will be part of a production operations team that produces end-to-end clinical material for advanced therapies, specially focused on cell and gene therapies. This includes production of media & buffers, cell banks, starting material like virus seeds and plasmids, API and DS for several different modalities.

You will be required to adhere to GxP guidelines and for some activities you will be required to enter clean rooms. Your activities will include:

• Production of a wide range of buffers and media for both GMP and non-GMP applications.
• Buffer/Media Preparation on scales ranging from 10 ml to 200L.
• Supporting the introduction of new buffers for new processes.
• Supporting the equipment & material introduction for new buffers and processes.
• Support other areas of operations as required.

Qualifications

• MLO degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences or related sciences;
• Experience in a pharmaceutical environment and knowledge of GxP is preferred;
