Job summary

Printforce Nederland B.V. is seeking an Assistant Production Manager to lead one of our production teams on a modern book production floor. You will be present daily, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency and on-time delivery of high-quality books.

You will work in a two-shift operation and collaborate with the Production Manager and peers to connect planning, engineering and production, driving continuous improvement and a smooth handover between shifts.

Qualifications

• Leads a team of operators and production staff.
• Experience in a production environment with focus on safety and quality.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and shifts.
• Hands-on technical mindset with a solution-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead a production team on a daily basis.
• Coordinate activities across printing, binding, packaging stages.
• Monitor schedules, quality standards and deadlines.
• Maintain a safe, organised and efficient work environment.
• Support operators in resolving equipment issues.
• Record and analyse production performance and deviations.
• Identify improvements in processes and drive changes.
• Ensure smooth handovers between shifts.
• Coach and develop team members.
• Act as main contact for production, planning, engineering and quality.
