Job summary

Le Boat in Hindeloopen, Friesland, NL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to prep our boat yard for the season. You will handle boat intake, winter preparations, spring commissioning, fall hauling, and stocking the marine shop.

You’ll work on-site, maintain 36 and 45ft fiberglass boats, service diesel engines, hydraulic systems, pumps and HVAC, and collaborate with the Head Tech & Base Manager. Travel to off-site locations for emergency repairs may be required.

Qualifications

• Technical studies or hands-on experience related to diesel engines, hydraulic systems, water pumps, or HVAC repair and general maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain our fleet to the highest standards for customer satisfaction and reliability.
• Ensure boats are in impeccable condition for presentation.
• Follow manufacturer maintenance schedules.
• Gain hands-on experience in installing electrical and mechanical equipment, including small fiberglass repairs (training provided).
• Collaborate with the Head Tech & Base Manager to prioritize tasks.
