Job summary

improven is seeking a BI Specialist to bridge data, technology and business. You will develop and optimise BI solutions in Microsoft Azure, designing data models and data warehouses to drive informed management decisions.

You will build dashboards and reports in Power BI, set up ETL processes, ensure data quality and GDPR compliance, and translate complex data into actionable business insights for multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Data Science, BI, IT or Econometrics.
• Minimum 3 years in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics.
• Experience with Power BI, DAX, SQL and Azure.
• Knowledge of ETL processes, data modelling and data warehousing.
• Knowledge of GDPR and data governance.

Your role

As a BI Specialist, you are the link between data, technology and business. You develop and optimise modern BI solutions and translate complex datasets into valuable management information. Through your dashboards, analyses and reports, you help various departments to make better-informed decisions.

You will work closely with colleagues from departments including IT, Finance, Marketing and Operations, and actively contribute to the further development of the data platform.

What do you bring?

• A completed higher national or university degree in Data Science, Business Intelligence, IT, Econometrics or a similar subject.
• At least 3 years' experience in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics.
  Experience with Power BI, DAX, SQL and Azure.
• Knowledge of ETL processes, data modelling and data warehousing.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into insights that the business can understand.
• Knowledge of data governance and the GDPR.
