Job summary

Rabobank Utrecht is seeking an experienced Data Analyst / BI Developer to design, build, and deliver data and reporting products within the IAM data environment. You will craft insights from IAM data to empower business and IT stakeholders, and collaborate across squads to drive self-service analytics.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in BI development, strong SQL/ETL skills, and experience with Azure data services such as ADF, Databricks, Synapse, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer sciences.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a BI developer in a complex IT landscape.
• Experienced in working with SQL and developing ETL solutions.
• Experienced in working with Azure data platform (ADF, Databricks, Synapse, Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of data modelling in Analysis Services or Power BI.
• Having at least one certificate is a plus: Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate; Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals; Databricks certificates.
• Great analytical and problem solving skills; very good communication and cooperation skills; Agile mindset and ability to work in Scrum; based in the Netherlands.

A background in IAM is preferred, but not a hard requirement. We value curiosity, a willingness to learn, and a passion for data. Experience with cloud platforms and data visualization is helpful, but we’re more interested in your mindset and potential.Your job focuses on extracting value from IAM data and converting it into actionable insights. Your team is part of an area which helps to create insights into IAM services and IAM Compliance and In Control topics. You build reports and insights for business and system owners across the bank, management information for domain leads, bring insights on IAM customers (employee & engineers) and much more. All these responsibilities contribute to the decision-making process up to the highest level in the bank.You closely collaborate with the data ingestion squad and solution architects to build data products that are simple to use and can solve many of the key challenges. Furthermore, the reporting & insight squad maintains key reports that are seen by highest management and external parties. You are also responsible to define key metrics that enable us to track and improve our products. IAM requires strong technical knowledge, experience in such space is preferred* Experienced in working with SQL and developing ETL solutions* Experienced in working with Azure data platform. For example ADF, Databricks, Synapse, Azure DevOps.
