Job summary

Adams Multilingual Recruitment is seeking a Sales Manager Benelux for an independent, international chemical distribution client. The role is full-time and based in Rotterdam, with most time on the road or working from home.

The focus is on developing the Dutch and Belgian markets for polyethylene and polypropylene customers. You will develop new business, manage key accounts, monitor market trends, advise technically and commercially, and negotiate framework agreements across the Benelux

Qualifications

• 2+ years sales experience in commodity polymers, petrochemicals, or chemical trading (PP/PE).
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Chemistry, Polymer Science or related field.
• Fluency in English plus Dutch and/or French.
• Willingness to travel ~40% of time and visit customer sites.
• Independent, self-starter in a fast-changing environment.
• Excellent communication, written and verbal, with customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities across the Benelux region and grow sales.
• Build strong relationships with key accounts.
• Monitor market, price trends, movements, and competitor activity.
• Provide technical and commercial customer advice with the Technical Services team.
• Negotiate and conclude framework agreements and customer projects.
• Collaborate with Customer Service and other departments for timely delivery and payments.
