Job summary

Center Parcs Europe seeks a Corporate General Accountant Belgium to manage statutory reporting, corporate accounting and Belgian payroll across eight Center Parcs and Sunparks entities. You will work with the Country Finance Manager Belgium as a trusted partner on Belgian accounting matters.

You will prepare annual accounts and tax filings, support audits, and contribute to process improvements while coordinating month-end closings and payroll activities in a collaborative, international setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Economics or related field.
• At least two years of relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of BE GAAP, statutory accounting, audits and internal controls.
• Comfort with ERP systems and strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Dutch and English communication proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual accounts, corporate tax returns, Belgian transfer pricing declarations and other statutory reports.
• Support external audits, tax audits and other controls.
• Assist with month-end, half-year and year-end closings and ensure timely financial information.
• Process Belgian payroll accounting, including salary invoices and payroll journal entries.
• Coordinate with the social secretariat and reconcile payroll-related balance sheet accounts.
• Collaborate with Finance and other departments to solve accounting questions and improve processes.
