Job summary

ASVZ is seeking an attentive Supporting Caregiver at Freesiastraat 28, Capelle aan den IJssel to help 13 adults with mild intellectual disabilities. You will provide daily living support, maintain a warm, secure home environment, and ensure activities are adapted to individual needs.

The role emphasizes structure, predictability and teamwork. A part-time position (~25 hours/week) with a 6-month contract and opportunities for professional growth within ASVZ.

Qualifications

• Patient, empathetic approach to support residents with intellectual disabilities.
• Willingness to develop in disability care and learn care plans.
• Ability to stay calm and provide structured support for residents with behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities

• Support residents in daily activities and personal care tailored to their needs.
• Attend monthly team meetings and contribute to care plans.
• Receive guidance from team leaders and care professionals.
• Assist with routine tasks such as meals, morning routines and supervision during shifts.
