Iberostar JOIA Aruba is seeking a Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. You will prepare drinks, greet guests, take orders, and ensure the bar is stocked and clean while following hygiene standards.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of bartender experience, a Highschool Degree, and are fluent in English and Spanish. We offer an attractive salary package and career opportunities within a global hospitality group.

Qualifications

• Highschool Degree or equivalent.
• 1 year experience in the bartender role.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to the established menu and recipes.
• Greet guests and engage with them to provide personalized drink recommendations.
• Take and process drink and snack orders promptly and accurately.
• Ensure the bar is fully stocked, clean, and organized throughout the shift.
• Set up and maintain the bar area, including counters, equipment, glassware, and coolers.
• Turn on equipment such as coffee machines, check CO2 levels, and maintain proper pressure in beverage tanks.
• Prepare garnishes, flavored waters, and cocktail decorations in advance of service.
• Clean, restock, and store bar tools and glassware during and after shifts.
• Verify expiration dates and product quality for safe service.
• Comply with hygiene, safety, and operational standards.
• Verify expiration date of dosing bottles from the previous day.
• Service to all clients with a smile and kindness.
