Job summary

Pulitzer Amsterdam is seeking a Bartender for Pulitzer's Bar to craft cocktails, wines, beers and other beverages while delivering a memorable guest experience. You welcome guests, take orders and suggest drinks based on personal taste, sharing the stories behind our drinks.

You will keep the mise en place, restock, handle payments and ensure the bar stays clean and ready for service, while collaborating with the team to support busy services and events.

Qualifications

What will you be doing?

As a Bartender at Pulitzer's Bar, you are responsible for creating an exceptional bar experience from the moment our guests arrive until their last drink. You prepare and serve cocktails, wines, beers and other beverages while making sure every drink meets our standards.

You welcome guests, take orders and use your knowledge to recommend drinks based on their personal taste. You connect with guests, share the stories behind our drinks and make sure the service feels personal and genuine.

During your shift, you keep your mise en place and the bar organised, restock products, handle payments and make sure the bar remains clean and ready for service. You work closely with the rest of the team and support each other, especially during busy services and events.

You also keep an eye on the overall guest experience. You notice when a guest needs another drink, when something is not quite right or when there is an opportunity to make someone's evening a little more special.

In short, you are not only making drinks. You are creating the atmosphere, taking care of our guests and helping make Pulitzer's Bar a place people want to come back to.
