Job summary

Hagen Espresso Bar in Amsterdam is seeking a Barista to craft high‑quality beverages, deliver warm, knowledgeable service, and maintain our café standards in a fast‑paced environment.

You’ll take orders and payments, prepare drinks and light food, keep the cafe clean, and work with a supportive team. No prior barista experience is required—full training is provided, with flexible patterns and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a guest-facing customer service role.
• Business-fluent English.
• Eligibility to work in the Netherlands.
• Business-fluent Dutch.
• Comfortable handling cash and card payments and using POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving specialty coffee, teas, and other beverages to Hagen standards.
• Delivering warm, friendly, and knowledgeable customer service.
• Taking customer orders accurately and handling payments.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming café environment.
• Preparing food and ensuring excellent presentation.
• Working as part of a supportive team to keep service running smoothly.
• Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
• Learning about our coffee and products to confidently recommend them to customers.
