Job summary

Everience, an international consulting group, seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, build, automate and maintain secure, scalable environments for a banking client.

You will collaborate with development, infrastructure, security and architecture teams to enhance software delivery, automation and platform reliability in a highly regulated setting. English proficiency is required, Dutch a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering or Platform Engineering.
• Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Terraform, Bicep, Ansible or similar IaC technologies.
• Good knowledge of Linux and networking.
• Experience with Git and modern software-development practices.
• Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Professional proficiency in English is required. Dutch is considered a plus.
• Experience in banking, financial services, fintech or another regulated environment is highly desirable.
• Cloud and DevOps certifications, including Azure, AWS, Kubernetes or Terraform certifications, are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain reliable DevOps and cloud environments.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Automate infrastructure and operational processes.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code.
• Support development teams with reliable deployment and development environments.
• Monitor performance, availability and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Contribute to cloud migration and platform-modernisation initiatives.
• Work closely with developers, architects and security specialists.
• Continuously improve DevOps practices, automation and engineering standards.
