Job summary

TNO in Ypenburg invites applications for a Technician Ballistic Experiments. You will prepare and conduct ballistic tests, handle weapons safely, and report results to clients under NATO standards and ISO 17025.

This role offers growth towards a range officer position within the PPES department. Required are an MBO 4 technical education and hands-on experience, Dutch language at B2 and English at B1, plus a driving license.

Qualifications

• MBO 4 technical education in a technical field.
• Hands-on technical experience is preferred.
• Dutch language at B2 level and English at B1 level are required.
• Category B driving license; forklift certificate preferred; EHBO may be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, execute and report ballistic experiments in LBR.
• Handle research weapons and ammunition safely during tests.
• Deliver research results to clients and advisors; collaborate with project leaders.
