Job summary

Payter is seeking a Backend Developer to design and develop the services that power our payment platform. You will work with Golang to build scalable APIs, improve existing applications, and implement features enabling customers worldwide to deliver seamless payment experiences.

You will collaborate with Product, Hardware, and Engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions while focusing on performance, reliability, and security for a global payments

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar Backend Developer role.
• Strong proficiency in Golang (required).
• Experience with Java is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is an advantage.
• Experience with RESTful API development and backend architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Dutch is a plus.
