As a Camunda Developer, you will be instrumental in automating business processes through the expert use of the Camunda platform. Your core responsibility will involve modeling business processes using BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) to visually represent and define workflows. You will then translate these models into executable processes within Camunda, designing and implementing interface connectors, particularly utilizing Python, to integrate Camunda workflows with various internal and external systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and maintains software products with a focus on workflow automation and business process management using the Camunda platform.
• Modifies existing software products to add new functions, improve performance or enhance usability.
• May participate in all aspects from detailed programming to high-level system design, collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Models, implements, and optimizes business processes in BPMN using Camunda, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Integrates Camunda workflows with internal and external systems, databases, and third-party services via REST, SOAP, and messaging protocols.
• Develops and maintains microservices or modular back-end components, ensuring clean architecture and adherence to best practices.
• Monitors, troubleshoots, and optimizes process performance and application reliability, resolving issues and bottlenecks as they arise.
• Ensures application security, data integrity, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Participates in code reviews, technical documentation, and knowledge sharing within the development team.
• Stays up to date with Camunda platform updates and best practices in back-end development and process automation.
• Contributes to Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, task estimation, and retrospectives.

Experience

• Familiarity with message brokers and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., GIT) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in testing, debugging, and optimizing back-end applications for performance and scalability.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with them
• Proficiency in a back-end programming languages
  
  
  

Preferred:

• Camunda Certified Engineer or similar certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of security best practices in back-end development
