Job summary

NAYAK Aircraft Service GmbH & Co. KG in the Netherlands is seeking a B1 Technician to perform base maintenance on wide-body aircraft in a hangar, ensuring airworthiness and readiness for takeoff.

You will conduct inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, component replacements and testing, while upholding aviation regulations and safety procedures; contribute as a proactive team member in an international, growth‑minded environment with opportunities for additional type ratings.

Qualifications

• Valid EASA Part-66 B1 license (B2 is advantageous).
• Type rating on B777 and B787.
• Additional aircraft type rating endorsed on license.
• Recent base maintenance experience.
• Residing in the Netherlands and eligible to work in the EU.
• Strong communication skills and customer friendly.
• Proactive and flexible attitude; solution oriented and quality driven.
• English language proficiency in speech and writing.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled base maintenance on wide-body aircraft in a hangar environment.
• Carry out inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, component replacements, and functional testing.
• Ensure full compliance with aviation regulations and internal safety procedures.
• Contribute as a team player by assisting with general tasks to keep office, vehicle fleet and stores in good order.

Position

As a B1 Technician at Nayak, you'll play a critical role in ensuring aircraft are safe, airworthy, and ready for takeoff. Your responsibilities in our Maintenance team will include:

• Performing scheduled and unscheduled base maintenance activities on wide-body aircraft in a hangar environment.
• Carrying out inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, component replacements, and functional testing in accordance with approved maintenance data.
• Ensuring full compliance with aviation regulations and internal safety procedures
• In addition to your technical duties, you will contribute as a team player by assisting with general tasks to ensure the office, vehicle fleet, and stores are well-maintained and operating smoothly

Requirements

• You have a valid EASA Part-66 B1 license (B2 is considered a strong advantage)
• Type rating on B777/B787
• At least one additional aircraft type rating endorsed on your licensel>
• Recent and relevant base maintenance experience
• You are residing in the Netherlands and eligible to work in the European Union.
• You have strong communication skills and you are customer friendly.
• You have proactive and flexible attitude.
• You are solution oriented, quality and result driven.
• You master the English language in word and writing.

• Hourly rate of €44–€52, depending on experience and additional type ratings.
