Job summary

Doghouse Recruitment is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to own the Azure infrastructure layer and automation. You will design landing zones, network topology, and identity boundaries, then implement repeatable infrastructure with Terraform or Bicep, collaborating with client teams on migrations and ongoing operations.

The role involves monitoring, pipelines, and incident response, with a focus on reducing manual steps through automation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in infrastructure engineering, with at least 2 years on Azure.
• Strong knowledge of networking, identity, compute and storage beyond portals.
• Experience with on-premises, bare metal or virtualization before cloud.
• Proficiency with Terraform or Bicep in production.
• PowerShell or Python automation.
• Willing to be on-call for what you build.
• Fluent English; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build landing zones, network topology, identity boundaries, compute and storage in Azure.
• Write Terraform or Bicep to make it repeatable.
• Migrate applications by aligning with client teams.
• Run and maintain the infrastructure; monitor, pipelines, incidents.
• Automate away manual steps to eliminate them.
