Job summary

Heuvelman Sound & Vision B.V. is seeking an Operational Buyer to procure audiovisual equipment, materials and services for diverse projects including corporate events and installations.

You’ll monitor deliveries, manage pricing and delivery times, and maintain up-to-date product data in the ERP system. You will work with the Sales team, Project Managers, Engineers and Finance to optimize procurement, reduce costs and ensure timely deliveries while maintaining strong supplier relations across the

Qualifications

• MBO level of working and thinking
• Experience in procurement is an advantage
• Good knowledge of the audiovisual market and related technologies is an advantage
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Good command of Dutch, both spoken and written
• Able to adapt easily and collaborate with colleagues across different teams

Responsibilities

• Purchase audiovisual equipment, materials and services for a wide range of projects.
• Check incoming deliveries and collaborate with warehouse team and suppliers to monitor orders.
• Review order confirmations for pricing and delivery times; act if materials cannot be delivered on schedule.
• Manage the item database within the ERP system to keep product information up-to-date and pricing accurate.
• Handle incoming requests in the central procurement mailbox; set priorities among urgent requests.
• Consolidate orders for same suppliers to minimize transport costs; plan ordering moments for future projects.
• Visit the warehouse to verify materials arrival; look beyond regular suppliers for better terms.
• Keep Project Managers informed about changes in delivery times or pricing.
• Collaborate with Sales, Project Managers, Engineers and Internal Sales; coordinate procurement activities.
• Work with Finance for supplier payments and advance payments; attend monthly sales meetings to share market insights.
