Job summary

Intelic in Amsterdam develops advanced software for unmanned systems in the defense sector. We seek a Drone Systems & Integration Engineer (junior-to-medior) to build hands-on expertise across mechanical, electrical, and software domains and to contribute to autonomous defense capabilities.

You will learn MAVLink, configure flight systems (PX4/ArduPilot), and collaborate closely with software engineers, defense experts, and operations teams to deliver reliable, mission-ready drones and support

Qualifications

• Solid engineering foundation in electrical/mechanical or mechatronics.
• Motivation to learn drone-specific skills such as MAVLink and flight operations.
• Aptitude for understanding interconnected systems in a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate drones with airframes, electronics, sensors, and avionics.
• Learn and configure MAVLink, PX4/ArduPilot, and flight systems.
• Understand how power, communications, sensors, and flight control work together in a vehicle.
• Provide repair support for vehicles in and out of the field and diagnose issues within Nexus.
