Job summary

AutoStaff in the Rotterdam region is seeking an experienced Car Mechanic or Automotive Technician. You will perform maintenance, repairs and diagnostics on passenger cars in a modern, professional workshop.

The role welcomes engineers who can work independently and communicate in English; Dutch not required. You will work with petrol, diesel, hybrid and possibly electric vehicles, with opportunities for APK-inspection training and career development.

Qualifications

• Professional automotive experience as Car Mechanic or Automotive Technician.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good mechanical knowledge and practical automotive skills.
• Experience with diagnostics and electrical faults is an advantage.
• Experience with hybrid or electric vehicles is a plus.
• You can communicate in English; Dutch is not required.
• Valid driving license (B).

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repairs on passenger cars.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Use professional diagnostic equipment to identify technical problems.
• Perform brake, suspension, engine and drivetrain repairs.
• Carry out technical vehicle inspections and safety checks.
• Perform APK inspections if you have a Dutch APK certification.
• Work on petrol, diesel, hybrid and possibly electric vehicles.
• Prepare vehicles for safe and reliable use.
• Check your own work and ensure a high-quality finish.
• Work together with other mechanics, technicians and workshop colleagues.
• Keep your workplace clean, organised and safe.
