Job summary

Brink Group is hiring a Quality Engineer in Staphorst, the Netherlands, to ensure products and processes meet customer and automotive standards. You will drive quality across development, approval and start of production, coordinating with Engineering, Production and Supply Chain.

You will lead quality activities, analyze processes, and implement robust control plans and SPC to prevent issues before they affect customers. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar technical field.
• Demonstrable knowledge and practical experience with IATF 16949.
• Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA and SPC.
• Strong experience with 8D problem solving and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and customer documentation.
• Experience with measurement and inspection techniques and statistical processes.
• Experience working with automotive customers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience leading internal audits and supporting customer/certification audits.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, VDA, customer requirements and internal standards.
• Lead quality activities in new product and process development and coordinate documentation for customer approvals.
• Provide quality input during planning, design reviews and process development.
• Participate in Design and Process FMEAs and address risks with controls.
• Develop and review Control Plans, inspection requirements, MSA and SPC activities.
• Act as primary quality contact for customers during projects and audits.
• Lead 8D problem solving including containment and root-cause analysis.
• Monitor complaints and quality trends and translate into preventive actions.
• Escalate risks affecting customer approval, timing or costs.
