Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced Process Engineer for our newest Contract Logistics branch in Tiel. You will design, develop, and optimize automated warehouse solutions, collaborating with Senior Operations Manager to ensure reliable performance.

You will work with WMS/WCS systems, coordinate with integrators and IT teams, and lead continuous improvement projects while training key users to maintain proficiency.

Qualifications

• Engineering experience in production/warehousing/engineering, preferably automated environments.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Broad knowledge of IT topics and ability to understand a complex technical setup.
• Team player who can lead project meetings and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth automation processes with correct WMS/WCS setup, collaborating with integrators and specialists.
• Proactively work with customers to anticipate changes and balance loads for performance.
• Translate operational needs into requirements for suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Develop automated solutions with internal/external teams to meet evolving engineering demands.
• Execute changes and continuous improvement projects with Solutions Engineers and govern layouts.
• Train key users and maintain WMS/WCS proficiency and troubleshooting abilities.
