DEPT® is a Growth Invention company that blends technology and marketing to deliver scalable creative campaigns. This role focuses on Creative Automation, designing and animating templates in After Effects and integrating with Lightspeed to render assets at scale.

You will be curious, technically minded, and eager to experiment, tackling creative problems with novel solutions and contributing to a high-performance motion-design team.

Qualifications

• Strong written and spoken English.
• Portfolio showing technical creative projects.
• Deep understanding of Adobe After Effects.
• Experience writing and using expressions in After Effects.
• Knowledge of JavaScript basics.
• Interest in third party scripts and extensions for Adobe software.
• Proactive and self-motivated with initiative.
• Eager to learn and develop new skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Independent yet collaborative.
• Process-driven and a good communicator.

Responsibilities

• Build reusable creative automation templates in Adobe After Effects.
• Solve creative challenges with clever technical solutions.
• Become an expert in Lightspeed, the AE extension for automation templates.
• Maintain clean project files with proper naming and organization.
• Represent the creative automation team and promote best practices.
