Job summary

Alewijnse is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and implement control software for complex electro-technical and automation installations across water treatment and process industries.

You will translate customer requirements into effective PLC and SCADA solutions, test rigorously in-house and on customer premises, and commission on site while continuously updating your knowledge and contributing to new standards and norms.

Qualifications

• Diploma HBO Automation and/or Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Knowledge of, and experience with, PLC and SCADA systems.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into a control solution.
• Write PLC and SCADA software.
• Test software in the office and at customer sites.
• Commission software on site; keep knowledge up to date.
• Co-develop and implement new standards and norms.
