Job summary

DRW Holdings, LLC. seeks an experienced engineering professional to support production trading technologies, deployments, and monitoring. You will help ensure maximum system availability and respond to incidents across a multi-platform environment, primarily Linux.

You will develop automation and monitoring tools, work with brokers and exchanges on connectivity, and collaborate across DBAs, developers, QA, and infrastructure to deploy releases and resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting high performance applications, with strong troubleshooting and monitoring skills.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals including multicast, TCP, and routing.
• Proficient in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Experience working in Linux environments is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to document procedures clearly.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to establish best-in-class support processes for production trading technologies, deployments, configurations, and proactive monitoring.
• Ensure maximum trading system availability to avoid missed trading opportunities.
• Provide support for trading production systems across multi-platform environments (primarily Linux, some Windows).
• Develop proprietary automation and monitoring tools; leverage third-party technologies when appropriate.
• Troubleshoot production incidents arising from internal software/systems or external market/data issues.
• Automate software configuration and rollout procedures to minimize manual errors and enable flawless change management.
• Support core market connectivity and communicate with exchanges regarding trade activity and related issues.
• Collaborate with DBAs, development teams, back office systems, QA, Infrastructure, and management during releases and troubleshooting.
