Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an experienced auto service leader to manage customer relationships and supervise technicians. You will assign work, coach staff, and oversee hiring and training while assisting with parts purchases.

This role emphasizes high customer satisfaction, effective communication, and driving store performance through proactive inspections and front/back shop collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of auto service technical experience.
• 1 year of service manager or service writer experience.
• Aptitude to manage inventory, scheduling, equipment maintenance, etc.
• Capacity to lead and coach others.
• Willingness to continue education and remain current in automotive repair issues.
• Must have valid automotive driver's license at all times in order to test drive customer's vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff.
• Serve all automotive service needs of customers.
• Oversee the hiring and training of the auto service team.
• Ensure high teammate retention.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards.
• Manage all aspects of customer interactions, including proactive communication and issue resolution.
• Serve as the primary contact for inquiries, feedback, and concerns.
• Develop understanding of business operations to enhance efficiency.
• Drive sales through proactive customer interactions and vehicle inspections.
• Provide insights to the front of the shop to facilitate product and service sales.
