Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, lead a team, and improve customer care and satisfaction. The role emphasizes leadership, training, and ongoing development in a busy automotive service environment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing complex systems, communicating with customers, and staying current with automotive technology through paid training assessments.

Qualifications

Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times.
Experience with brakes, hydraulics, steering and alignment.
Skilled in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
Reading, writing and math skills; able to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair to specifications in brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, suspension and electrical systems.
Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
Stay current with automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment.
