Job summary

ING Nederland’s Corporate Audit Services (CAS) team conducts independent audits across ING, with a focus on Market Risk Management and Treasury. The Audit Manager role leads complex audits spanning trading and banking book risk, assesses governance and controls, and communicates findings to senior management.

This position is based in Amsterdam, operating in a hybrid mode with international teams. You will mentor colleagues, contribute to audit planning and drive CAS expertise in market risk

• The ability to translate complex risk management topics into clear audit conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Performing and leading audits across Market Risk Management, Treasury and related financial risk topics.
• Assessing end-to-end risk management processes, governance, controls, models, methodologies and management information.
• Reviewing the design and operating effectiveness of controls over trading and banking book risk management.
• Identifying key risks, defining audit scope, developing audit testing and formulating clear, evidence-based findings.
• Challenging management in a constructive and professional manner.
• Communicating audit outcomes clearly to stakeholders.
• Sharing specialist knowledge with audit colleagues and supporting the development of team members.
• Contributing to audit planning, continuous risk monitoring and the development of CAS expertise in market risk management.
