Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Company in Amsterdam seeks an Associate Director Procurement Finance to serve as the Finance Business Partner for the CPO and GCOE Procurement organization. You will provide insights on procurement performance and drive value for the global business across ~€11bn in spend.

With leadership of a small team, you will shape the annual plan, forecast, and strategic 3YP, review contracts, and support ESG commitments to ensure robust financial outcomes and executive-ready presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, accounting, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
• MBA or CPA preferred.
• 10+ years experience in operations or corporate finance.

Responsibilities

• Own the Global Procurement P&L and provide consolidated financial visibility.
• Review Global Category Led (GCL) contracts and support the GCL team.
• Oversee ESG commitments' financial review and in-year progress.
• Lead procurement planning (AOP/3YP) with global benchmarking.
• Negotiate budgets with entity owners and global counterparts.
• Lead and develop a team (2 direct, 5 indirect).
• Undertake ad-hoc projects as required.

Associate Director Procurement Finance

The Procurement Finance Associate Director is the Finance Business Partner for the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) and GCOE Procurement organization, and is responsible for providing insights and recommendations on our Procurement financial performance across the globe with ~$11bn of spend, spread across Direct & Indirect materials as well as Sustainability goals. The role is required to review and assess this spend while ensuring they support the zones by driving value for the business.

Responsibilities:

• Ownership of the Global Procurement P&L.
• Support CPO with consolidated financial visibility and analysis for incl FX and commodities.
• Responsible for financial review of Global Category Led (GCL) Contracts and support to the GCL team.
• Own the financial review of ESG commitments and contracts as well as management of in year progress on financial and performance goals.
• Own methodologies implemented by the Procurement group and ensure clear alignment to these identifying any gaps.
• Lead, develop and train a team of 2 direct reports and 5 indirect reports.
• Guide Procurement annual operational plan (AOP) and strategic plan / 3YP exercise, including global benchmarking. Negotiate budgets with entity owners and global counterparts.
• Ad-hoc projects as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, accounting, engineering, mathematics or equivalent. MBA or CPA preferred
• Experience working a CPG company in the food & beverage industry
• 10 years’ experience working within operations or corporate finance
• Experience working in public accounting, investment banking, or consulting, an asset
• Strong communication, leadership and coaching skills
• Ability to review and simplify data to create a strong and compelling presentation to executives
• Experience working with budgets/forecasts and modelling
• Ability to motivate and lead a team
