Randstad is seeking an Associate Director to lead digital evolution, automation, and AI integration within the Procurement CoE. You will own S2C platforms, drive autonomous procurement, and build a data lake for predictive analytics.

This role requires ~10 years of procurement/digital enablement experience, strong executive communication, and a track record in change management. HQ location in Diemen, Netherlands, with a global, strategic impact.

Qualifications

• ~10 years of experience in procurement, contract management, or digital procurement enablement.
• Deep technical and functional domain knowledge across Source-to-Contract (S2C), CLM, Procurement Intake, and Spend Analytics systems.
• Hands-on experience with or clear capability in driving process automation, data lake integration, and AI/agent workflow deployment.
• Executive communication skills in English with proven change management and business partnering capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead autonomous AI agents for end-to-end procurement workflows.

Role Title: Associate Director Procurement Enablement Digital & Automation Summary We are hiring an Associate Director Procurement Enablement to lead digital evolution, process automation, and artificial intelligence integration within Randstad’s global Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE). This role drives the strategy for Source-to-Contract (S2C) platforms, "Agent Ops" AI automation, and spend analytics to transform procurement into an autonomous, value-driven partner.

Location: HQ, Diemen

Role Differentiation Important Note: This is an Enterprise Technology Strategy, AI & Process Enablement Role, NOT an operational purchasing, sourcing execution, or transactional buyer role.

What You Will Achieve

AI & Agent Ops Leadership: Build and supervise autonomous AI agents to manage end-to-end procurement workflows, setting ethical standards and performance guardrails. Digital Platform Ownership: Serve as the global business owner for S2C, Procurement Intake, and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms, partnering with IT on integration roadmaps. Process Automation & Optimization: Transition procurement processes toward touchless, autonomous operations while streamlining system access and health. Spend Analytics & Data Enablement: Build and scale an augmented procurement data lake to drive predictive analytics and automated compliance reporting. Digital Culture & Adoption: Train and upskill global teams and business stakeholders on AI tool collaboration and modern platform adoption.

What You Need to Succeed

Experience: ~10 years of experience in procurement, contract management, or digital procurement enablement. S2C Expertise: Deep technical and functional domain expertise across Source-to-Contract (S2C), CLM, Procurement Intake, and Spend Analytics systems. AI & Automation Savvy: Hands‑on experience or clear capability in driving process automation, data lake integration, and AI/agent workflow deployment. Stakeholder Management: Exceptional executive communication skills in English, with proven change management and business partnering capability.

Key Metrics & Outcomes You’ll Own

High percentage of touchless intake and automated CLM workflows. Successful deployment and adoption rate of autonomous AI agents within CoE operations. Expansion and compliance integration of the augmented procurement data lake.
