ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER – BATAVIA STAD

Diesel is a truly worldwide organization. It is present in more than 80 countries with 5,000 points of sale, including more than 400 company owned stores.

For our Outlet Store – DIESEL BATAVIA STAD – we are now recruiting the Assistant Store Manager. The candidate we are looking for will partner with the Store Manager and be co-responsible for the achievement of commercial targets of the Store, by maximizing the business potential of the store in line with the Company strategy.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in driving the Store strategy to achieve the best sales performance and
    creating a hand-crafted 360° experience for the client
  • Actively contribute to the development and implementation of business action plans to enhance sales
    for each product category and client tier segment
  • Provide excellent and specialized customer service to develop meaningful and loyal client relationships
    through CRM initiatives Role model best in class sales and self-leadership by playing an active role
    within your team, and take action to solve problems with positive outcomes
  • Actively engage in wider community and seek inspiration from other sectors to form a cohesive team
    focused on creating an energetic, exciting, innovative and approachable environment
  • Empower and support your colleagues to accomplish tasks effectively and generate enthusiasm and
    energy to create positive team spirit
  • Build and maintain relationships by instilling a sense of belonging and a positive, forward-thinking mindset

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of previous experience in a managerial role in a modern retail environment
  • Confidence in managing large teams
  • Solid experience in working to and driving KPIs and sales targets
  • Excellent understanding of the luxury sector and product sensitivity
  • Strong communication skills and commercial mindset
  • Previous experience in managing complex store operations
  • Digitally aware and open to new ways of working
  • Ability to interact effectively with foreign clients
  • Passion for Diesel Brand, product and heritage

Language proficiency: Dutch and English are mandatory. Any additional language is considered a strong plus
