Job summary

Maastricht University invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Methodology and Statistics in the Faculty of Psychology and Neuroscience. You will develop methodological and statistical approaches, contribute to education, and advance interdisciplinary research within an active, international environment.

You hold a PhD in a relevant field and have proven teaching and coding skills in R, with strong English communication. A Dutch learning attitude is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Academic expertise in methodology and statistics with publications.
• Experience teaching statistics or methodology in higher education.
• Strong analytical and programming skills, esp. in R.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and evaluate educational activities and teaching materials.
• Conduct independent and collaborative research in methodology and statistics.
• Provide methodological and statistical support to students and researchers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across faculties and institutes.
• Contribute to methodological innovation that strengthens research quality.
