Job Description

Do you lead with confidence and inspire excellence? At Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam, we’re looking for an Assistant Housekeeping Executive who ensures our rooms and public areas reflect the highest standards of cleanliness and luxury — while leading a passionate team to deliver unforgettable guest experiences.

Your role in the journey

As Assistant Housekeeping Executive, you’ll be at the heart of our Housekeeping operations. You’ll support the Housekeeping Manager and fellow assistants in leading a team of approximately 100 professionals, ensuring every room and public space meets Anantara’s impeccable standards.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading, coaching, and motivating the housekeeping team.
  • Managing daily operations and administrative tasks.
  • Ensuring efficient stock and inventory control.
  • Monitoring quality standards and hygiene compliance.
  • Collaborating with external suppliers and service providers.
  • Handling guest complaints with professionalism and empathy.
  • Driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Understanding and working towards departmental goals (finance, quality, guest satisfaction).
  • Ensuring compliance with LQA (Leading Quality Assurance) standards.
  • Being physically active and present on the floor — not just behind a desk.
  • Using tools like Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint for reporting and communication.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

  • At least 1 year of experience as Assistant Housekeeping Executive or Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Background in a 4 or 5-star hotel environment.
  • A guest-focused, professional attitude with a positive and energetic approach.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate diverse teams.
  • A sharp eye for detail and a drive for excellence.
  • Calm and organized under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Knowledge of LQA standards and a commitment to delivering luxury service.

Additional Information

Why you’ll love your journey with us

  • A competitive salary based on your experience and scale 7 of the Horeca CLA.
  • An end-of-year bonus equal to at least 75% of a gross monthly salary.
  • Global team member rates at over 550 Minor Hotels.
  • Friends & Family rates to treat your loved ones worldwide.
  • 50% savings on F&B at 20 luxury hotels across Amsterdam.
  • A complimentary experience stay to immerse yourself in the Anantara guest journey.
  • Access to tailored learning programs and our online university.
  • Priority access to internal vacancies across Minor Hotels.
  • Management development programs to support your growth.
  • Health & lifestyle perks including collective insurance, gym memberships and bike plans.
