Link Snacks, a global leader in the protein snack industry, is seeking an experienced Assistant General Counsel EMEA to join its Amsterdam team. This role serves as a strategic partner, overseeing legal, compliance, and regulatory functions across the EMEA region.

You will lead commercial contracting, European employment law, GDPR, IP, and ethics programs, while coordinating with external counsel and cross-functional stakeholders to balance commercial and legal risk.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of legal experience.
• At least 3 years of in-house experience within an international organization.
• Proven expertise in commercial contracting, European employment law, and EU food/regulatory law.
• Experience managing external counsel and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the legal function and ensure regulatory/compliance governance.
• Provide proactive legal advice on contracts, employment law, and labor relations.
• Oversee data privacy (GDPR), IP, and corporate ethics programs.
• Serve as a key member of the EMEA Leadership Team balancing commercial objectives with risk management.

This role serves as a strategic business partner, overseeing legal, compliance, and regulatory functions across the EMEA region.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 7 years of legal experience.
• At least 3 years of in-house experience within an international organization.
• Proven expertise in commercial contracting, European employment law, and EU food/regulatory law.
• Experience managing external counsel and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Background in FMCG, food manufacturing, or highly regulated industries is preferred.
