Job summary

QphoX is seeking an Assistant Controller to support the CFO in daily finance operations, including administration, closing, reporting, payroll coordination, and grant reporting. The role requires accuracy, structure, and comfort in a scale-up environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience in Dutch financial administration, bookkeeping or assistant controller work.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch VAT and invoicing requirements.
• Experience with month-end closes and intercompany reconciliations preferred.
• Familiarity with grant/subsidy reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier and customer invoices, expense claims and bank transactions in Exact Online.
• Prepare supplier payments, monitor receivables and maintain AP/AR records.
• Support month-end close, reconciliations and intercompany activities.
• Coordinate payroll administration with external payroll provider.
• Assist with management reporting and grant/subsidy reporting.
