Job summary

NTS Eindhoven is seeking an Assembly Technician for building advanced systems and modules for semiconductor, analytical, and precision markets. Based on drawings, you assemble components into subassemblies and completed products, working with mechanics, mechatronics, and electronics while monitoring quality in a cleanroom environment.

Most tasks occur in ISO 6/7 cleanrooms; some outside. You will join a close team, contribute ideas for process improvements, and mentor less experienced

Qualifications

• Completed vocational education in a technical field (level 3 or 4).
• Experience assembling complex products, preferably in a cleanroom.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and parts lists.
• Structured and precise work attitude with emphasis on cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complex subassemblies and finished products from drawings and lists.
• Work across mechanics, mechatronics, electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Maintain the highest cleanliness according to ISO 6/7 protocols.
• Inspect components with standard measuring instruments and approve or reject.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve assembly processes.
• Train and guide new colleagues on the work floor.

Job Description

As an Assembly Technician at NTS Eindhoven, you build advanced systems and modules for leading players in the semiconductor, analytical, and precision markets. Based on drawings, diagrams, and parts lists, you assemble components into subassemblies and complete products of various and complex natures. You work with mechanics, mechatronics, and electronics, continuously monitoring the quality of what you deliver.

Most of the work takes place in our cleanroom (ISO 6 and 7). There are also tasks as a technician outside the cleanroom. During an introduction, we will discuss together which tasks best suit your background and experience.

You are part of a close-knit team where craftsmanship and knowledge sharing are central. You actively think along with engineering and work preparation about improvements in the assembly process and are a point of contact for your colleagues.

At NTS Eindhoven, you never stay still. From this role, you can grow into a tester/troubleshooter, proto technician or expert. You help determine how far you go.

Furthermore, your tasks include:

• Assembling complex subassemblies and finished products based on drawings, diagrams, and parts lists within mechanics, mechatronics, electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics;
• Working according to the applicable work instructions and cleanroom protocols (ISO 6 and 7) at the highest level of cleanliness and accuracy;
• Inspecting assembled components and (partial) products with standard measuring instruments and approving or rejecting them;
• Rectifying identified deviations and thereby ensuring the quality of the end product;
• Collaborating with engineering and work preparation on structural improvements in the assembly process;
• Training and guiding new and less experienced colleagues as a point of contact on the work floor;
• Maintaining production records and completing the associated checklists.

Requirements

We are looking for a precise and quality-oriented assembly technician with the following background:

• A completed vocational education (level 3 or 4) in a technical field, such as mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or precision mechanical engineering;
• Demonstrable experience in assembling complex products, preferably in a cleanroom environment;
• You read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and parts lists with ease;
• A structured and precise work attitude with an eye for quality and adherence to cleanliness procedures;
• Good command of the Dutch and/or English language in speech and writing, due to drawings, work instructions, and communication in the workplace.
