Bring structure and efficiency to production at Den Haan Rotterdam! Lead the assembly team and ensure the highest quality in marine navigation lights.

On behalf of Den Haan Rotterdam (DHR), MARPRO Group is looking for an Assembly Team Leader for the Capelle aan den IJssel site. You report to the company's Supply Chain Manager.

The position

As Assembly Team Leader, you are responsible for the entire assembly process within DHR. You ensure that our products are assembled on time, efficiently and according to the highest quality standards. With a sharp focus on lead time and quality, you will lead the assembly department to a higher level. You manage the assembly team on a daily basis and help out where necessary.

Additional responsibilities

• You are a sparring partner for the R&D department with regard to the design of the workplace and the introduction of new products.
• You conduct annual appraisals in collaboration with HR.
• You monitor the core competencies within your team.
• You ensure a realistic production planning and optimal capacity utilization.
• You ensure that all products always meet the highest quality standards and that this is guaranteed in the process.
• Proven experience in a managerial role within an assembly or production environment.
• Completed MBO+ education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a similar technical direction.
• Strong focus on efficiency and continuous process improvement (LEAN/QRM).
• Experience with quality assurance and process optimization.
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably Business Central).
