Job summary

Waters in Drachten is seeking an Assembly Specialist to build and test automated laboratory systems used by professionals worldwide. You will follow drawings and specifications to assemble modules, perform tests and ensure quality and safety in a modern production setting.

The role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented technician with experience in mechanical/electrical assembly, strong documentation skills and teamwork across production groups.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly, production, mechatronics, mechanical or electrical engineering environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Experience using simple measuring equipment and following detailed processes.
• Strong eye for detail with commitment to quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complex modules and subassemblies per drawings and instructions.
• Perform functional tests to verify operation against requirements.
• Interpret and follow technical documentation accurately.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety and 5S+1 workplace organization.
