Job summary

Motus People is seeking a Cleanroom Technician to build and assemble high-tech modules and complete machines in a controlled environment. You will work from technical drawings, meet tight tolerances and ensure every system is tested, measured, documented and ready for delivery.

You will follow strict cleanroom protocols, contribute to process improvements and have the option of day or two-shift schedules with a higher rate on the latter. English proficiency is required; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Holds a technical MBO level 3 or 4 in mechanical, electrical or mechatronics, or equivalent international diploma.
• Fluent in reading technical drawings and maintaining high accuracy.
• Level-headed, practical and able to take initiative when something looks wrong.
• Works well with colleagues and can operate independently when needed.
• Desires to keep developing and learning new techniques.
• Good command of English; Dutch is a plus but not required.
• Based in the Netherlands or willing to relocate.

Job description

The modules you build will end up inside semiconductor equipment, medical systems and aerospace applications. Three industries with no appetite for error, and no tolerance for a single speck of dust. For one of the leading high-tech manufacturers in Tech Region Twente, we are looking for a Cleanroom Technician. You will build innovative modules and complete machines from the ground up, in a controlled environment where precision is the product.

Whether you are already in the Netherlands or reading this from abroad, Motus People takes care of the rest. Housing, municipal registration, BSN, health insurance, bank account, all arranged before you arrive.

The Role

You work alongside colleagues to build, mount and assemble high‑tech modules and complete machines. Every system leaves the cleanroom tested, measured, documented and ready for a customer who will notice anything you missed.

Your responsibilities:

• Mounting and assembling mechanical and electrotechnical components into modules and complete systems
• Working from technical drawings and product documentation, down to the last tolerance
• Performing measurements and recording results to safeguard product quality
• Testing, adjusting and inspecting systems before they are released to the customer
• Following cleanroom protocols precisely, gowning, cleaning, contamination control
• Thinking along with your team about improvements to the assembly process

Working hours — your choice:

Day shift: you start between 07:00 and 09:00.

Two-shift rotation (+20%):

• Week 1: Monday–Thursday 05:45–14:30 | Friday 05:45–12:00
• Week 2: Monday–Thursday 14:15–00:00 | Friday 11:45–17:45

This is You

• A technical MBO level 3 or 4 qualification — mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or mechatronics — or an equivalent international diploma
• You read technical drawings fluently and you work accurately, every time
• Level-headed, practical, and not afraid to take initiative when something looks wrong
• You work well with colleagues, and you can also find your own way without being told twice
• You want to keep developing and learning new techniques
• Good command of English, spoken and written. Dutch is a plus, not a requirement
• Living in the Netherlands, or ready to relocate here

What We Offer

• € 3.200 – € 3.750 gross per month, based on your experience
• Choose your own rhythm: stay on day shift, or earn 20% more in the two-shift rotation — up to roughly € 4.500 gross per month
