Job summary

VDL TIM Hapert B.V. zoekt een Assemblage- en Reparatietechnicus wielnaven voor de truckindustrie. Je voert handmatige montage uit, beoordeelt en repareert naven en refurbished onderdelen van de geautomatiseerde lijn, waarbij kwaliteit en efficiëntie centraal staan.

Je werkt nauwkeurig aan inspecties en metingen, bent flexibel met overwerk en werkt bij voorkeur in dagdienst. Je draagt bij aan procesverbeteringen en levert een eindproduct van hoge kwaliteit aan klanten.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, precisie en vakmanschap vereist.
• Inzet voor kwaliteitscontrole en veiligheid.
• Zelfstandigheid gecombineerd met teamwerk.

Responsibilities

• Monteren van wielen en onderdelen zoals remschijven, wiellatten en lagers.
• Inspecteren en testen op kwaliteit en functionaliteit.
• Beoordelen van onderdelen uit de geautomatiseerde assemblagelijn.
• Uitvoering van reparaties en herwerk.
• Registreren van uitgevoerde werkzaamheden en nazorg.

De functie

As an Assembly and Repair Technician Wheel Hubs for the truck industry, you will be responsible for the manual assembly of wheel hubs and for assessing, repairing, and refurbishing wheel hubs coming from the automated assembly line. You play an important role in delivering a high-quality end product through accurate assembly, quality inspections, and the reuse of valuable components whenever possible.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assembling wheel hubs and mounting components such as brake discs, wheel studs, and bearings.
• Inspecting and testing products for quality and functionality.
• Assessing wheel hubs originating from the automated assembly line.
• Carrying out repair and rework activities when required.
• Selecting reusable components and recording completed work.
• Working in accordance with quality, safety, and environmental regulations and contributing to process improvements.

• VMBO/MBO technical education or an equivalent level of working and thinking.
• Strong technical insight, practical hands-on skills, and an affinity for assembly and precision work.
• Accurate, quality-conscious, and detail-oriented.
• Able to work independently while also being a strong team player.
• Flexible, solution-oriented, and willing to work overtime when necessary.
• Willing to work in a day shift schedule.
• Good command of the Dutch or English language.
